# Create your account

Register your business with a work email address, and a few minutes later you're in the portal with a 30-day trial that includes one display. You don't need payment details.

Were you invited, or does your business already use Szenera? Then you don't need to register. Use the link in your invitation email, or [sign in](/getting-started/sign-in).

## Steps

1. On the sign-in page, click **No account yet? Register an organization**.
2. Enter your work email address under **Email** and click **Request code**.
3. Look in your inbox for the code. It has eight characters and is valid for 30 minutes. Enter it and click **Confirm**, or click the button in the email instead.
4. Under **Your access**, enter a **Display name** and a password with at least 12 characters, then click **Continue**.
5. Under **Your organization**, enter the name and address of your business and choose a **Language** and **Time zone**. For **Country**, type the two-letter code, such as `US` or `DE`. Click **Continue**. These details appear on your invoices later.
6. Check the summary, select **I agree to the terms of use and the privacy policy.**, and click **Create organization**.

If someone at your business already registered with the same email domain, the portal offers **Request to join** after step 3. Your request goes to that organization's administrators, and you get an invitation by email if they accept. If your business signs in with a company account (single sign-on), the portal shows **Sign in with your company account** instead, and your account is created the first time you sign in.

## Check the result

You're signed in and see the **Dashboard**. Your organization exists, you are its **Owner**, and the trial has started: 30 days with one display and everything in the Pro package, free of charge. The **Finish setup** card shows what to do next. If you add more displays during the trial, you pay for them from the day you book them.

## If something goes wrong

| Symptom | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| The code email doesn't arrive | The address has a typo, or the email went to spam. The portal confirms sending either way. | Check your spam folder. To fix the address, click **Change**. Otherwise, click **Send a new code**. |
| “This code is invalid, expired or already used.” | More than 30 minutes have passed, or a character is wrong. | Click **Send a new code**. The old code then stops working. |
| “Your confirmation has expired. Please confirm your address again.” | Too much time passed before the last step. | Click **Start again**. |
| After reloading the page, the password field is empty | For your security, the portal doesn't keep your password. | Enter it again. Everything else is still there. |
| “An organization now exists for your email domain.” | Someone at your business registered first. | Click **Start again**. You can then request to join. |
