# Tagesschau

The Tagesschau app shows the news of the day from tagesschau, with a large picture and the headline, in the style of the information displays at train stations and airports. You don't set up an address or a source.

> **Type:** app
> **For:** anyone who wants the news in a scene
> **Prerequisite:** the Pro package, and the app installed
> **Where in the portal:** **Apps** › **Discover apps** › **Tagesschau**. The widget is in the scene editor under **News & info**.

## What the app shows

The **Tagesschau** widget shows the newest stories with picture, section, kicker, headline, and teaser. The header carries the original tagesschau logo, and the background the dark blue of the brand.

Templates, settings, and what happens without a network are the same for all news apps, see [How the news apps work](/apps/about-news-apps).

## Sections

Under **Section**, choose **All stories**, **Domestic**, **International**, or **Business**. The default is **All stories**.

> **Tip:** In a waiting area, **Picture and headline** with **All stories** works well. At a reception, the **Band** with **Business** runs along the bottom of a scene.
